Job Description

You will be responsible for analyzing fiscal matters, checking tax returns, reviewing tax regulations in various international jurisdictions, and completing US Federal and State tax reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out detailed computations for tax liability, reporting and presentations to external tax accountants.
  • Revising, developing and streamlining procedures and worksheets for calculation of tax provisions.
  • Interpreting tax law, revenue provisions, tax management strategies.
  • Establishing and structuring new businesses / joint ventures to identify profitability of potential mergers and acquisitions by analyzing tax information; calculating key ratios to identify tax saving options.
  • Researching, analyzing and interpreting changing tax legislation in USA, UAE, Greece, Korea, Germany and offshore jurisdictions
  • Providing guidance on indirect taxation issues such as GST, VAT, TDS etc.
  • Liaise with external auditors completion of semi / yearly audits
  • Estate planning and advising on tax residence and domicile matters

Skills & Qualifications

  • Tax Lawyer OR CPA/ACA with at least four years’ experience in tax advisory.
  • Recommended: Masters of Tax Law or a joint degree in law and accounting
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and communication skills.
  • A methodical approach to record keeping
