Ship Recycling is carried out primarily in INDIA, CHINA, BANGLADESH, AND PAKISTAN with TURKEY performing just a handful of demolitions each year.

While India continues to dominate the market with the most vessels recycled each year, in the last two years China has moved aggressively to come in a close second in terms of tonnage recycled each year. Bangladesh and Pakistan are following the leaders in their respective positions at number 3 and 4.
